Privacy Policy (Case Review Hotline)
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: February 10, 2026
Case Review Hotline (“Case Review Hotline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a d/b/a of Attorney Scaler LLC (“Attorney Scaler”). We operate a marketing and call-routing service that connects consumers to third-party attorneys, law firms, and/or legal lead distribution partners (collectively, “Participating Providers”). We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and using our services does not create an attorney-client relationship.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you (a) visit our website, (b) call our hotline, and/or (c) provide your information to us through third-party platforms (such as lead forms/lead ads). By using our website or hotline, or by providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Important: This Privacy Policy describes our data practices. Any consent for calls/texts (including any required “prior express written consent”) is obtained through the disclosures and affirmative actions presented at the time you provide your phone number (for example, via a checkbox or similar mechanism). This Privacy Policy does not replace those point-of-collection disclosures.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected:
Through our website (for informational purposes);
When you call our hotline, including through automated prompts and interactive voice response (“IVR”); and
When you provide your information through third-party platforms (for example, social media lead forms/lead ads) or other channels we use to generate and route inquiries.
Information We Collect
A. Information you provide by phone (including through IVR)
When you call, you may provide information such as:
Identifiers and contact information: phone number (including caller ID), and any name you provide
General location: state, city, or ZIP code (if provided)
Accident/incident-related details: general description of what happened, date/timeframe, state/location, whether you were injured, whether you have an attorney already, and similar qualifying details
Other information you choose to share: anything you state during the call or through IVR responses
B. Information you provide through lead forms or other channels
If you submit your information through a third-party lead form or similar channel, you may provide:
Full name, phone number, email address, state/location, and other form fields you complete
Information related to your incident and whether you wish to be contacted about a case review
C. Call recordings
Calls you place to our hotline may be recorded. A recording announcement is provided at the start of the call. Recordings may capture your voice, statements, and any information you share.
D. Website and device information (automatic collection)
If you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, and approximate location (city/state)
Usage data such as pages viewed, time spent on pages, and interactions with site elements
Date/time stamps and error logs
E. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, tags, and similar technologies to support security, analytics, and marketing/attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain site functions.
How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
Operate and provide the service, including screening/qualification via IVR and routing inquiries
Facilitate connections to Participating Providers, including sharing your information so a Participating Provider can evaluate your inquiry and contact you
Maintain quality, safety, and integrity, including training, quality assurance, auditing, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries you initiate
Improve our website, call flows, routing, and service performance
Conduct analytics and reporting, including conversion and attribution measurement
Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
Protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, Participating Providers, our business, and others
Telephone Calls, Text Messages (SMS), and TCPA-Related Notices
A. Case Review Hotline communications
Case Review Hotline does not typically initiate outbound calls or text messages to consumers who submit lead forms. If you call our hotline, we may communicate with you during that inbound call (including through IVR), and we may respond to inquiries you directly send to us.
B. Participating Providers’ communications
After you submit your information (including through a lead form) or after you are screened/qualified, Participating Providers (attorneys, law firms, legal lead distribution partners, and/or their agents) may contact you by phone and/or text message regarding your request for a case review or related follow-up. Their calls/texts are governed by their own policies and practices.
C. Consent
Any required consent for calls/texts (including use of automated technology and/or prerecorded/artificial voice, where applicable) is obtained through the disclosures and affirmative actions presented at the time you provide your phone number (for example, via a checkbox on a lead form or other compliant mechanism). You are not required to provide consent as a condition of purchase.
D. Opt-out / revocation of consent
If you receive calls or texts from a Participating Provider and want them to stop, follow that Participating Provider’s opt-out instructions (for example, replying STOP to a text message, where offered) and/or contact the Participating Provider directly. You may also contact us (Section 14) and we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request by stopping future sharing/routing of your information from our systems, subject to legal and operational requirements.
E. Message & data rates; carrier liability
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose your information as follows:
A. Participating Providers and lead distribution partners
We may share information you provide (including lead form submissions, call details, and where applicable call recordings) with Participating Providers for purposes of evaluating your inquiry, providing legal services, routing your inquiry, and/or contacting you regarding your request.
B. Service providers and vendors
We may share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as telecommunications/call routing, call tracking, hosting, analytics, security, and customer support. These vendors are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to us.
C. Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our policies; and to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of our users, Participating Providers, and our business.
D. Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Consent to Collection and Sharing Through Calls
Consent is obtained when you call our hotline, receive the recording announcement (if applicable), and proceed to answer IVR questions and/or continue the call. By continuing the call after notice, you consent to our collection, recording (where announced), use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy, including sharing with Participating Providers.
Important Notices
Not a law firm / no legal advice: We do not provide legal advice. Any legal advice you receive comes from the Participating Provider you are connected with.
No attorney-client relationship: Using our website or hotline, submitting a lead form, or being connected to a Participating Provider does not create an attorney-client relationship with Attorney Scaler LLC or Case Review Hotline.
Do not provide confidential information to us: Do not provide confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive information to Case Review Hotline. If you are connected to an attorney/law firm, they will advise you on what they need and how to share it.
Data Retention
We retain information (including call logs and recordings) for as long as reasonably necessary for business, operational, legal, compliance, dispute resolution, quality assurance, and enforcement purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may submit requests by contacting us as described in Section 14. We will verify requests consistent with applicable law.
F. Sensitive personal information
To the extent information collected may be considered sensitive under California law, we use it only as reasonably necessary to provide the services, ensure security, comply with law, and for other permitted purposes.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
